As a physician specializing in Family Medicine, my goal is to provide total family care including: internal medicine, intensive care, newborn and general pediatrics, office gynecology, office surgery, adolescent medicine, dermatology, counseling and psychiatry. Most of your family’s health care needs will be met by this Family Practice. One in ten new problems are rare enough that the diagnosis is unclear or the treatment complex enough that another specialist’s opinion is needed. If I think that you need to see another specialist, my receptionist will call and get the appointment for you often much faster than you could yourself. You will not be charged by me for a visit that results in direct referral to a specialist other than for laboratory work already performed. Referral is made for obstetrics, dentistry, ophthalmology, hospital surgery, and all unusual subspecialty care when needed. Even when consultation is prescribed, your family doctor will never relinquish full responsibility for supervision of your total health are. Please ask that all medical records made by another physician, such as emergency room or hospital, be sent to this office.
